JD Hospitality Recruitment is currently working with a Private Yacht looking for a Head Chef to oversee the kitchen operation. Overseeing a team of 3 the role will involve cooking healthy, creative food to Michelin levels for up to 12 guests. 
The role will also involve catering for the 21 crew on board. Chefs should have a quality track record in quality restaurants and be very organised and logistically minded. The role is paying up to 7000 Euros per month + tips. Looking at a June start

Restaurant of the Month – Brasserie Chavot - Mayfair London

Brasserie Chavot is the first venture of the award winning and critically acclaimed former 2 Michelin starred Chef, Eric Chavot since his return to the UK.

With a preparation bar where Chef Chavot and his team will prepare an array of items such as oysters and caviar right in front of you whilst you sit at the bar sipping Champagne. Eric Chavot has a fabulous pedigree. He has worked with Pierre Koffman, Raymond Blanc, and Marco Pierre-White, and as head chef at The Capital in Knightsbridge had two Michelin stars for a decade after 1999.

Nautical Academy – Barcelona


We are pleased to be also involved in an amazing new project in the Port of Barcelona.The Interior courses are designed to further the knowledge of yacht Crews who have already been in the industry for a minimum of 6 months. This course will incorporate the time schedule during the day of a guest trip. Our professional instructors will replicate a 5 day charter and go through the daily timings of aspects that a yacht stewardess would encounter while guests are on board.

A Typical Day - Adam Byatt - Trinity Restaurant - Clapham.

Trinity is a privately-owned restaurant situated in Clapham Old Town.

Every day is utterly different to the next but in an idol world: I would wake up at 7am and go for a run with my dog, have breakfast with my kids then be at Bistro Union at 8:30am with a coffee and have a catch up with the team. Then I would spend the morning cooking at Trinity for a few hours then head off to Georgina’s in Barnes after lunch to attend a management meeting, return back to Trinity at 5pm for our family staff dinner with the team. would then run the pass at Trinity during service. Toward the end of service say goodbye to the team, clear my emails then to drive to Bistro Union for a night cap and for a catch up before finally arriving home around 1am, have half an hour of sky news with a cold beer then do it all again the next day.
